The making of the 2008 shiraz is a reflection of an accidental meeting and the passion, understanding and the terrior characteristics of the Heathcote wine region.

The accidental meeting was at the Hanging Rock races and the passion dates back to a 1987 Heathcote vintage.  This passion grew over the next 15 years with Andrew Thomson's experience in making the world’s most awarded Heathcote shiraz’s. Latitude 37 encapsulates this passion for what shiraz was meant to be. A rich dark purple/plum hue, showing multi-layered complexity to the bouquet and palate, fruit driven balanced with oak and fine tannin structure. Latitude 37 vintage 2008 is an exceptional example of Heathcote Shiraz and why we create wine.

The 2008 Heathcote Shiraz was released in December 2011.
